MARKETING GENERALIST

Costa Vida is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Generalist to join our team. As a Marketing Generalist, you will be responsible for planning and executing local store marketing strategies that create brand awareness, bring in new guests, and retain current customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and optimize marketing strategies across various channels.


The Marketing Generalist is responsible for developing and executing local marketing strategies for corporate owned locations. This individual will also be the go-to person for franchise groups to receive marketing support, providing insights, recommendations, and project management support as those groups operate their own local marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will understand how to develop marketing strategies from the ground up, optimize campaigns based on performance, leverage low-cost channels, and know how to effectively communicate marketing concepts.

The essential responsibilities of the position are listed below:

Job Duties

Maximize the performance and sales of the company by:

  • Developing and executing local marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and increase sales.
  • Work with store operators and team members to understand local marketing needs and execute against those needs with frequent evaluation and optimization.
  • Be the main point of contact for franchisees who need support with their own local marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for new stores. Some travel will be required.
  • Drive coordination within the marketing department on local marketing needs.
  • Gather and organize customer feedback about the brand and can identify the Costa Vida current customers as well as potential customers.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, similar degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years experience in marketing or marketing support positions.
  • Experience with developing and executing marketing strategies including email, print, sponsorship, and event tactics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Can communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and employees.
  • Organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • High sense of urgency; self-motivator.
  • A desire to do the job well, even if that means occasionally working beyond business hours.
